Shillong, Apr 14: Adarsh Singh, a student of the PM SHRI KV Umroi Cantonment, secured a place among the selected candidates across India, as reflected in the official selection list released by ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation).
He will undergo training at the North Eastern Space Applications Centre (NESAC) where he will receive exposure to space science, satellite technology and research-oriented learning, a press release informed today.
Adarsh was among the 13 selected students from Meghalaya, as per the official selection list released by ISRO. He has been allotted the NESAC Shillong for the programme.
The YUVIKA programme aims to nurture young scientific minds and encourage students to pursue careers in space science and technology.
The Principal and staff of PM SHRI KV Umroi Cantt expressed immense pride in his accomplishment. They congratulated him for bringing laurels to the Vidyalaya and wished him success in his future scientific endeavors.
