Shillong, May 31: Amid rising complaints of frequent accidents in the Tyrso region, the Khasi Students’ Union (KSU) has issued a warning to drivers against speeding.
The KSU Tyrso unit asked drivers to control vehicle speed, especially during school opening and closing hours and to keep speeds below 30kmph.
The unit also urged the public to inform the KSU if they find drivers violating the warning. It further appealed to drivers to cooperate to ensure peace and safety are maintained in the Tyrso area and adjoining localities.
