The Chief Executive Member (CEM) of the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC), Shemborlang Rynjah on Tuesday allocated portfolios to the Executive Members (EM).
Rynjah as the CEM has kept the portfolios of General Administration Department (GAD), Posting and Transfer, Establishment, Appointment, Elaka, Forest and portfolios not allocated to the other EMs.
Journalist-turned-MDC, Powell Sohkhlet has been given the Information Technology and land Development portfolios.
Winston Tony Lyngdoh has been allocated Labour, Trade, Enforcement and Revenue.
Deiti Majaw has been allocated, Law and Legal Matter, Marriage and Divorce and Town Committee.
Aibandaplin Nonglait has been allocated, Health and Sanitation and Education, Pynkhraw Kharjahrin will look after, Council Buildings and Council Assets and Building By-Laws.
Isnei Hinge will look after Water Resources and Fisheries and Seiborlang Warbah has been allocated the Finance portfolio.
