The Executive Engineer, Khliehriat Distribution Division, MePDCL, Khliehriat has informed that power supply in East Jaiñtia Hills will be interrupted from 10:00 hrs of February 19 to 16:00 hrs of February 20.
In a press release the MePDCL said that there will be an urgent shutdown of 132/ 33KV 5MVA Transformer at 132/33KV Lumshnong Sub Station for oil filtration and other maintenance work of power transformer.
The areas/ villages to be affected are whole of Lumshnong village, Tongseng(Narpuh), Khaddum, Sonapur, Shymplong, Lummyrli, Kuliang, Borsara, Umkiang, Dona Skul, Dona Umbluh, Ratacherra, Malidor, Wahiajer(Narpuh), Thangskai, Chiehruphi, Musiang Lamare, Umlong, Mynkre, Nongsning, Umtyra and its adjoining areas.
Efforts will be made for early restoration and inconvenience to be caused is sincerely regretted, the press release, added.
