The unfathomable pressure of visiting innumerable homes to distribute “SIR” Forms, providing necessary instructions and answer unending queries of highly confused citizens, collecting it and thereafter uploading the data in the portal (many of them compelled to attend their regular duties as well as teachers/Anganwadi workers) could have been diluted a bit by appointing more officials for each booth.
Else the whole process should have been allowed to come to fruition by awarding extensive time which the huge operation rightly deserves. In that case, the officials would have been saved from meeting the goal in such a rushed way within a very short time!
The concerned authorities should answer the real reason behind such a hurry in initiating as well as completing the “Special Extensive Operation”!
If the Electoral Rolls are “Corrupt”, then the NDA government at the Centre must also fail the legitimacy test as 2024 General polls have been conducted based on these very Rolls only! In the same way all state Governments – – Haryana to Gujarat, Maharashtra to Odisha, Rajasthan to Assam, Madhya Pradesh to Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh to Arunachal Pradesh – – are also “illegitimate” as the concerned Party has gone way up to the top through the exercise of these very “Corrupt” rolls only!
Yet the third “Modi Government” will be allowed to run its full course till 2029 with the rest of the states set to complete their respective innings of 5 years!
But the West Bengal Government should be made “crystal-clean” and so with the Assembly elections knocking at the door, what a “World War III resembling” urgency as if there is no tomorrow! Will the Centre and Election Commission kindly clarify why such “Special Extensive Revision” didn’t hit its mind prior to the 2024 Lok Sabha polls and Assembly hustings right from Delhi to Chattisgarh, Goa to Manipur!
May we know who must be held responsible for the premature pathetic death of several BLOs from Bengal to Gujarat, Kerala to Uttar Pradesh by virtue of suicides or heart attacks! And to sprinkle salt upon injuries, Bhakts (by remaining in safe distance) are exhibiting their fangs by branding the BLOs as “worthless” “work-lethargic”; “escapist” or “weak”!
When would such heartlessness and “Dignified Slavery” of the faceless human beings is brought to an end and human beings be perceived as human beings instead of taking them as “Machines”!
