Governor Satya Pal Malik today called for stricter regulation of the lockdown.
The Governor, who visited areas of Golflinks, Upper Shillong and Khyndailad to observe if lockdown measures were being followed, also shared his observation and feedback with the Deputy Commissioner of East Khasi Hills for necessary action.
While appreciating the efforts of the district administration, the Governor suggested that stricter regulation would prevent aimless gathering and random wandering of youths and citizens in certain areas of Shillong.
