Governor Satya Pal Malik today constituted a consultative committee for Covid-19.
The terms of reference of the committee are that it shall deliberate on the overall Covid-19 situation in the state and make recommendations on improving awareness on preventive measures, strategy to deal with the surge in Covid-19 positive cases and measures to improve vaccination coverage, particularly among the vulnerable groups.
The committee consists of Chief Secretary MS Rao as the chairman, Health Department Principal Secretary Sampath Kumar, Theilin Phanbuh, BR Blah, Rev SS Majaw, Fr Richard Majaw, Naba Bhattacharjee, Babeth Sangma, Dr Sandra Albert, Information and Public Relations Secretary Matsiewdor War Nongbri as members and Political Department Secretary CVD Diengdoh as member secretary.
