The Seng Khasi Kmie has invited Governor Phagu Chauhan to attend the annual thanksgiving dance, Shad Suk Mynsiem, on April 10 at Weiking Ground here.
This will be Chauhan’s first time at the event as he was only recently appointed as the new Governor of Meghalaya.
Chauhan was invited personally by the Seng Khasi’s general secretary, Hainess Marbaniang, today.
Simultaneously, Janardhan Das Maharaj from the ISKCON temple in Guwahati also paid a visit to the Governor to celebrate the occasion of Ram Navami.
