Federal Bank, Shillong has extended sponsorship to National Health Mission, Meghalaya for the construction of two maternity labour rooms.
The in-principle sanction order was handed over to Mission Director Ramkumar S by Noyal Baby, AEVP and Branch Head, Federal Bank yesterday.
The labour rooms will be constructed at Wahkaji PHC under South West Khasi Hills and Zikzak PHC in South West Garo Hills.
It is hoped that the CSR Programme of the bank would contribute to the upliftment of the preventive healthcare system in Meghalaya.
