The Meghalaya Engineering Service Association (MESA) has elected its new executive committee members for 2022-2024 with B. W. Phira as its president.
The election was held at the XVI General Meeting of the association held in Tura on October 15.
The members also elected D. Langstang and Saljrang Marak as vice president, H. S. Basaiawmoit (secretary), four assistant general secretaries, treasurer and publicity secretary.
Zonal council members for East Khasi Hills, Garo Hills, West Khasi Hills and Jaiñtia Hills were also elected at the meeting as well as four members.
