East Jaiñtia Hills police seized heroin worth Rs 10.6 crore in last five days, officials said.
Director General of Police, Lajja Ram Bishnoi took to X to inform about the relentless efforts of the police in combating drug trafficking. “Team @ejhpolice on a roll! In last 5days, they’ve scored 4 high value drug hauls worth Rs 10.6 Crores!,” he wrote.
In the latest seizure, the district police seized a consignment of heroin worth Rs 1.1 crore and nabbed three suspected drug traffickers.
Police also seized a luxury car from their possession.
