An earthquake of magnitude 3.2 on the Richter scale hit Meghalaya at 2.55 pm.
The epicentre was Tura in West Garo Hills, as per the Nationals Centre for Seismology (NCS). The earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 km.
Taking to X, the seismology centre wrote, “Earthquake of Magnitude: 3.2, Occurred on 26-03-2024, 14:55:15 IST, Lat: 25.71 & Long: 90.92, Depth: 10 Km, Location: 75km ENE of Tura, Meghalaya.”
