The District Magistrate of East Jaiñtia Hills, West Jaiñtia Hills and East Khasi Hills have declared dry days in their respective districts in relation to the upcoming February 27 Assembly election.
There will be dry days on February 25-27 and on March 2, which is the day that the votes will be counted.
All IMFL licensed premises (wholesale and retail), bars, canteens, country spirit shops and outstills shall remain closed on the above mentioned dates.
