Shillong, Sep 3: In view of the Vice-President of India’s planned visit to Shillong on September 7-8, the East Khasi Hills District Magistrate Abhilash Baranwal today banned the use of drones in certain parts of the city on those days.
The restricted areas are the State Central Library and Lok Bhavan. A 3km radius ‘no drone zone’ will be in force over those two areas on the dates of the visit.
