Professor and Head of Radiodiagnosis of NEIGRIHMS, Dr C Daniala has been appointed Medical Superintendent of the institute from today.
In an order issued recently by NEIGRIHMS Director, Prof (Dr) Nalin Mehta, Dr Daniala will hold the post for three years until further orders.
Dr Daniala did his MBBS from JIPMER, Pondicherry in 1988 and MD (Radiodiagnosis) from JIPMER in 1991. He was the first and founder faculty of NEIGRIHMS since inception and instrumental in bringing the institute to its present status.
He is also the president of the Meghalaya State, Indian Medical Association (IMA).
