The office of the State Mission Director of Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) will organise the ABDM Scan & Share implementation programme on Saturday at NEIGRIHMS, which will be followed by a short orientation programme.
The Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission is striving to promote digital health services to meet objectives set by the World Health Organisation in terms of realising the goal of universal health coverage throughout the country.
A QR code-based solution in ABDM empanelled facilities has been introduced to enable patients to scan a QR code and share their “demographic base”, a press release stated today. “This process will drastically eliminate the long queues during the peak OPD registration time and subsequently this will bring down the turnaround time and bring in new experience to the patients,” it added.
