The A’chik Students’ Welfare Association (ASWA) has requested the State Bank of India to appoint a new manager of its Selsella branch in West Garo Hills because the present one “does not understand the local language”.
This is causing “immense hardship for the people of our area in communicating with him,” ASWA said in a letter to the SBI Regional Office in Tura.
The letter was dated yesterday and signed by senior members of ASWA’s Selsella unit.
