The body of an unidentified male was recovered at around 12:45am on Monday. He was found lying on the road at Mawlyngad Kyndongbasa on National Highway 46.
An inquest and other formalities were carried out and the body has been stored at the morgue of NEIGRIHMS in Shillong for identification and claim.
The man was around 45-50 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall, with a swarthy complexion and medium build. He was found wearing a long sleeve blue and white sweater, long sleeve pink shirt, grey trousers, blue and red cap and black sandals.
