The West Jaiñtia Hills Deputy Commissioner (Supply) has warned against creating artificial crisis by hoarding or black marketing of essential commodities.
The order comes in view of the current situation in the State following the Mukroh firing incident on November 22.
The DC said the order is to maintain availability of essential commodities at a normal price in the open market to the public.
The order is for all open market wholesalers and retail traders of essential commodities under the district. They have also been directed not to sell beyond MRP and to refrain from selling expired product to the general public.
