Meghalaya recorded eight new cases of Covid-19, one recovery and no fatalities.
East Khasi Hills recorded four new cases and two each were reported from Ri Bhoi and West Garo Hills. The single recovery was from East Khasi Hills.
There are now 15 active Covid-19 cases in the state – East Khasi Hills seven, Ri-Bhoi five, West Garo Hills two and West Jaiñtia Hills one.
In all, Meghalaya has had 93,886 Covid-19 cases, 92,277 have recovered and 1,594 have died from the virus.
