There were six new cases of Covid-19 in Meghalaya today along with 17 recoveries and no fatalities.
There were zero new infections in East Khasi Hills, zero in East Garo Hills, zero in East Jaiñtia Hills, zero in Eastern West Khasi Hills, zero in North Garo Hills, two in Ri-Bhoi, one in South Garo Hills, zero in South West Garo Hills, zero in South West Khasi Hills, one in West Garo Hills, two in West Jaiñtia Hills and zero in West Khasi Hills.
East Khasi Hills accounted for one recovery, East Garo Hills one, East Jaiñtia Hills one, Eastern West Khasi Hills zero, North Garo Hills zero, Ri-Bhoi three, South Garo Hills zero, South West Garo Hills one, South West Khasi Hills zero, West Garo Hills five, West Jaiñtia Hills five and West Khasi Hills zero.
There are now 339 active Covid-19 cases in the state – East Garo Hills two, East Jaiñtia Hills seven, East Khasi Hills 36, Eastern West Khasi Hills two, North Garo Hills three, Ri-Bhoi 18, South Garo Hills three, South West Garo Hills 14, South West Khasi Hills five, West Garo Hills 234, West Jaiñtia Hills 15 and West Khasi Hills zero.
In all, Meghalaya has had 96,325 Covid-19 cases, out of which 94,370 have recovered and 1,616 have died from the virus. There are 28 patients being treated in hospital with the disease – 17 in East Khasi Hills, one in Ri-Bhoi, one in South Garo Hills, eight in West Garo Hills and one in West Jaiñtia Hills.
