Meghalaya recorded one new Covid-related fatality as well as eight infections and seven recoveries today.
Ri-Bhoi accounted for the lone death. There have now been 14 Covid deaths in the state this month.
South Garo Hills accounted for two recoveries, East Jaintia Hills one, East Khasi Hills one, South West Khasi Hills one, West Garo Hills one and West Jaintia Hills two.
There are now 50 active Covid-19 cases in the state. East Khasi Hills alone accounts for 20 cases, West Jaintia Hills eight, West Khasi Hills five, West Garo Hills four, Ri-Bhoi four, East Jaintia Hills four, South West Garo Hills four, North Garo Hills one, East Garo Hills zero, Eastern West Khasi Hills zero, South Garo Hills zero and South West Khasi Hills zero.
In all, Meghalaya has had 93,738 Covid-19 cases, of which 50 are active, 92,096 have recovered and 1,592 have died from the virus.
