There were no new cases of Covid-19 reported in the state today, the first time in weeks that this has been the case. There were also eight recoveries and no fatalities.
West Jaiñtia Hills accounted for three recoveries, West Khasi Hills two, East Khasi Hills one, Ri-Bhoi one and West Garo Hills one.
There are now 30 active Covid-19 cases in the state. East Khasi Hills alone accounts for seven cases, Ri-Bhoi five, East Jaiñtia Hills four, West Khasi Hills three, East Garo Hills three, South West Garo Hills three, West Garo Hills two, West Jaiñtia Hills two, South West Khasi Hills one, Eastern West Khasi Hills zero, North Garo Hills zero and South Garo Hills zero.
In all, Meghalaya has had 93,759 Covid-19 cases, of which 30 are active, 92,136 have recovered and 1,593 have died from the virus.
