One new case of Covid-19 was recorded in Meghalaya today, along with one recovery and no fatalities.
The new infection was in East Khasi Hills, with East Jaiñtia Hills accounting for the recovery.
There are now five active Covid-19 cases in the state – two in East Khasi Hills and three in Ri-Bhoi.
In all, Meghalaya has had 93,832 Covid-19 cases, of which five are active, 92,234 have recovered and 1,593 have died from the virus.
