There were four new cases of Covid-19 in Meghalaya today along with 11 recoveries and one fatality.
The lone death was recorded in West Jaiñtia Hills.
Ri-Bhoi accounted for all four cases.
East Khasi Hills accounted for four recoveries, Ri-Bhoi one, South Garo Hills one, West Garo Hills four and West Jaiñtia Hills one.
There are now 80 active Covid-19 cases in the state – East Garo Hills three, East Jaiñtia Hills three, East Khasi Hills 23, Eastern West Khasi Hills one, North Garo Hills zero, Ri-Bhoi 15, South Garo Hills one, South West Garo Hills four, South West Khasi Hills three, West Garo Hills 26, West Jaiñtia Hills one and West Khasi Hills zero.
In all, Meghalaya has had 96,496 Covid-19 cases, out of which 94,797 have recovered and 1,619 have died from the virus. There are 22 patients being treated in hospital with the disease – 17 in East Khasi Hills, three in Ri-Bhoi, one in South Garo Hills and one in West Garo Hills.
