A further four new cases of Covid-19 were reported in Meghalaya today. There were also four recoveries and no new fatalities.
Of the new cases today, three were in East Khasi Hills and one in West Jaiñtia Hills.
The recoveries were all recorded in East Khasi Hills.
In all, Meghalaya has had 13,691 Covid-19 cases, of which 161 are active, 13,386 have recovered and 144 have died from the virus. The recovery rate is 97.77 percent. The fatality rate is 1.05 percent.
The Health Department also informed that around 1,350 Covid tests were carried out in the last 24 hours.
