There were 21 new cases of Covid-19 recorded in Meghalaya today, along with five recoveries and no fatalities.
There were seven new infections in East Khasi Hills, one in East Garo Hills, one in South Garo Hills, 11 in West Garo Hills and one in West Jaiñtia Hills.
Three recoveries were in East Khasi Hills and two in West Garo Hills.
There are now 131 active Covid-19 cases in the state – East Garo Hills one, East Jaiñtia Hills one, East Khasi Hills 60, Ri-Bhoi 20, South Garo Hills one, South West Garo Hills one, West Garo Hills 41 and West Jaiñtia Hills six.
In all, Meghalaya has had 94,167 Covid-19 cases, of which 131 are active, 92,441 have recovered and 1,595 have died from the virus. Twelve patients are being treated in hospital with the disease – six in East Khasi Hills, five in Ri-Bhoi and one in West Jaiñtia Hills.
