Six new cases of Covid-19 were recorded in Meghalaya today, along with five recoveries and no fatalities.
All six infections were in East Khasi Hills and were high-risk contacts of a previously infected person. The five recoveries were all in Ri-Bhoi.
There are now 13 active Covid-19 cases in the state – eight in East Khasi Hills, three in Ri-Bhoi, one in East Jaiñtia Hills and one in West Garo Hills.
In all, Meghalaya has had 93,818 Covid-19 cases, of which 13 are active, 92,212 have recovered and 1,593 have died from the virus.
