There are now 216 active cases of Covid-19 in Meghalaya, with the addition of 30 new cases recorded in the state today, along with 14 recoveries and no fatalities.
There were four new infections in East Khasi Hills, 11 in Ri-Bhoi, one in South West Garo Hills, 13 in West Garo Hills and one in West Jaiñtia Hills.
Four recoveries were in East Khasi Hills, five in Ri-Bhoi and five in West Garo Hills.
There are now 216 active Covid-19 cases in the state – East Garo Hills two, East Khasi Hills 62, North Garo Hills two, Ri-Bhoi 24, South Garo Hills one, South West Garo Hills six, West Garo Hills 110, West Jaiñtia Hills seven and West Khasi Hills two.
In all, Meghalaya has had 94,335 Covid-19 cases, out of which 92,524 have recovered and 1,595 have died from the virus. Thirty-five patients are being treated in hospital with the disease – 28 in East Khasi Hills, four in Ri-Bhoi and three in West Garo Hills.
