There were three new cases of Covid-19 in Meghalaya today along with 10 recoveries and no fatalities.
East Khasi Hills accounted for two new cases and West Garo Hills one.
East Khasi Hills accounted for two recoveries, Ri-Bhoi two, South West Garo Hills two, West Garo Hills three and West Jaiñtia Hills one.
There are now 43 active Covid-19 cases in the state – East Garo Hills one, East Jaiñtia Hills zero, East Khasi Hills 17, Eastern West Khasi Hills zero, North Garo Hills zero, Ri-Bhoi six, South Garo Hills zero, South West Garo Hills one, South West Khasi Hills zero, West Garo Hills 18, West Jaiñtia Hills zero and West Khasi Hills zero.
In all, Meghalaya has had 96,694 Covid-19 cases, out of which 95,029 have recovered and 1,622 have died from the virus. There are six patients being treated in hospital with the disease – four in East Khasi Hills, one in Ri-Bhoi and one in West Garo Hills.
