There are now 200 active cases of Covid-19 in Meghalaya, with the addition of 38 new cases recorded in the state today, along with 20 recoveries and no fatalities.
There were 11 new infections in East Khasi Hills, one in East Garo Hills, three in Ri-Bhoi, one in South West Garo Hills, 20 in West Garo Hills and two in West Jaintia Hills.
Twelve recoveries were in East Khasi Hills, one in East Jaintia Hills, three in Ri-Bhoi, three in West Garo Hills and one in West Jaintia Hills.
There are now 200 active Covid-19 cases in the state – East Garo Hills two, East Khasi Hills 62, North Garo Hills two, Ri-Bhoi 18, South Garo Hills one, South West Garo Hills five, West Garo Hills 102, West Jaintia Hills six and West Khasi Hills one.
In all, Meghalaya has had 94,305 Covid-19 cases, of which 200 are active, 92,510 have recovered and 1,595 have died from the virus. Twenty-six patients are being treated in hospital with the disease – 21 in East Khasi Hills, two in Ri-Bhoi and three in West Garo Hills.
