There were 33 new cases of Covid-19 recorded in Meghalaya today, along with 16 recoveries and no fatalities.
There were 16 new infections in East Khasi Hills, four in Ri-Bhoi, one in South West Garo Hills, 10 in West Garo Hills, one in West Jaiñtia Hills and one in West Khasi Hills.
Eleven recoveries were in East Khasi Hills, four in Ri-Bhoi and one in West Jaiñtia Hills.
There are now 158 active Covid-19 cases in the state – East Garo Hills one, East Jaiñtia Hills one, East Khasi Hills 60, North Garo Hills two, Ri-Bhoi 19, South Garo Hills one, South West Garo Hills three, West Garo Hills 65, West Jaiñtia Hills five and West Khasi Hills one.
In all, Meghalaya has had 94,232 Covid-19 cases, of which 158 are active, 92,479 have recovered and 1,595 have died from the virus. Fourteen patients are being treated in hospital with the disease – nine in East Khasi Hills, three in Ri-Bhoi and two in West Garo Hills.
