There were six new cases of Covid-19 in Meghalaya today along with 11 recoveries and no fatalities.
East Khasi Hills accounted for three new cases, West Garo Hills two and Ri Bhoi one.
West Garo Hills accounted for six recoveries, four in East Khasi Hills and Ri Bhoi one.
There are now 49 active Covid-19 cases in the state-West Garo Hills 18, East Khasi Hills 14, Ri Bhoi nine, South West Khasi Hills three, South West Garo Hills two and one each in East Garo Hills, South Garo Hills and West Jaiñtia Hills
In all, Meghalaya has had 96,608 Covid-19 cases, out of which 94,938 have recovered and 1,621 have died from the virus. There are 10 patients being treated in hospital with the disease – six in East Khasi Hills, Ri-Bhoi three and one in West Garo Hills.
