There were six new cases of Covid-19 recorded today in Meghalaya along with four recoveries and no fatalities.
East Khasi Hills accounted for three new infections, Ri-Bhoi one and West Garo Hills two.
There was one recovery in East Khasi Hills, two in Ri-Bhoi and one in West Garo Hills.
There are now 108 active Covid-19 cases in the state – East Khasi Hills 63, Eastern West Khasi Hills one, Ri-Bhoi eight, South West Garo Hills one and West Garo Hills 35.
In all, Meghalaya has had 94,022 Covid-19 cases, of which 108 are active, 92,320 have recovered and 1,594 have died from the virus. Three patients are being treated in hospital with the disease – all in Ri-Bhoi.
