There were five new cases of Covid-19 recorded today in Meghalaya along with six recoveries and no fatalities.
East Khasi Hills accounted for three new infections and West Garo Hills two.
There were three recoveries in East Khasi Hills and three in Ri-Bhoi.
There are now 107 active Covid-19 cases in the state – East Khasi Hills 63, Eastern West Khasi Hills one, Ri-Bhoi five, South West Garo Hills one and West Garo Hills 37.
In all, Meghalaya has had 94,027 Covid-19 cases, of which 107 are active, 92,326 have recovered and 1,594 have died from the virus. Five patients are being treated in hospital with the disease – two in East Khasi Hills, two in Ri-Bhoi and one in West Garo Hills.
