There were 46 new cases of Covid-19 in Meghalaya today, along with 54 recoveries and no fatalities.
There were 11 new infections in East Khasi Hills, two in East Garo Hills, two in East Jaiñtia Hills, zero in Eastern West Khasi Hills, three in North Garo Hills, five in Ri-Bhoi, one in South Garo Hills, six in South West Garo Hills, four in South West Khasi Hills, nine in West Garo Hills, three in West Jaiñtia Hills and zero in West Khasi Hills.
East Khasi Hills accounted for 11 recoveries, East Garo Hills zero, East Jaiñtia Hills one, Eastern West Khasi Hills zero, North Garo Hills zero, Ri-Bhoi three, South Garo Hills five, South West Garo Hills two, South West Khasi Hills two, West Garo Hills 23, West Jaiñtia Hills six and West Khasi Hills one.
There are now 464 active Covid-19 cases in the state – East Garo Hills five, East Jaiñtia Hills 12, East Khasi Hills 49, Eastern West Khasi Hills zero, North Garo Hills four, Ri-Bhoi 20, South Garo Hills 11, South West Garo Hills 18, South West Khasi Hills 10, West Garo Hills 308, West Jaintia Hills 27 and West Khasi Hills zero.
In all, Meghalaya has had 96,240 Covid-19 cases, out of which 94,163 have recovered and 1,613 have died from the virus.
There are 34 patients being treated in hospital with the disease – 14 in East Khasi Hills, four in Ri-Bhoi, one in South Garo Hills, three in South West Khasi Hills, eight in West Garo Hills and four in West Jaiñtia Hills.
