There were 35 new cases of Covid-19 in Meghalaya today, along with 66 recoveries and no fatalities.
There were 10 new infections in East Khasi Hills, two in East Garo Hills, three in East Jaiñtia Hills, zero in Eastern West Khasi Hills, one in North Garo Hills, two in Ri-Bhoi, two in South Garo Hills, two in South West Garo Hills, one in South West Khasi Hills, six in West Garo Hills, six in West Jaiñtia Hills and zero in West Khasi Hills.
East Khasi Hills accounted for 19 recoveries, East Garo Hills two, East Jaiñtia Hills zero, Eastern West Khasi Hills zero, North Garo Hills two, Ri-Bhoi eight, South Garo Hills one, South West Garo Hills three, South West Khasi Hills one, West Garo Hills 27, West Jaiñtia Hills three and West Khasi Hills zero.
There are now 516 active Covid-19 cases in the state – East Garo Hills three, East Jaiñtia Hills nine, East Khasi Hills 62, Eastern West Khasi Hills four, North Garo Hills three, Ri-Bhoi 25, South Garo Hills 19, South West Garo Hills 20, South West Khasi Hills seven, West Garo Hills 333, West Jaiñtia Hills 29 and West Khasi Hills two.
In all, Meghalaya has had 96,093 Covid-19 cases, out of which 93,965 have recovered and 1,612 have died from the virus. There are 44 patients being treated in hospital with the disease – 27 in East Khasi Hills, one in Ri-Bhoi, one in North Garo Hills, two in South West Khasi Hills, nine in West Garo Hills and four in West Jaiñtia Hills.
