There were three new cases of Covid-19 in Meghalaya today along with nine recoveries and no fatalities.
West Garo Hills accounted for all three new cases.
East Garo Hills accounted for one recovery, East Khasi Hills six, Ri-Bhoi one and West Garo Hills one.
There are now 50 active Covid-19 cases in the state – East Garo Hills one, East Jaiñtia Hills zero, East Khasi Hills 17, Eastern West Khasi Hills zero, North Garo Hills zero, Ri-Bhoi eight, South Garo Hills zero, South West Garo Hills three, South West Khasi Hills zero, West Garo Hills 20, West Jaiñtia Hills one and West Khasi Hills zero.
In all, Meghalaya has had 96,691 Covid-19 cases, out of which 95,019 have recovered and 1,622 have died from the virus. There are 12 patients being treated in hospital with the disease – seven in East Khasi Hills, four in Ri-Bhoi and one in West Garo Hills.
