There were 11 new cases of Covid-19 in Meghalaya today along with 15 recoveries and no fatalities.
East Garo Hills accounted for one new case, East Khasi Hills three, North Garo Hills one, South West Garo Hills two, West Garo Hills two, West Jaiñtia Hills one and West Khasi Hills one.
East Khasi Hills accounted for four recoveries, Eastern West Khasi Hills one, Ri-Bhoi two, South West Garo Hills one and West Garo Hills seven.
There are now 76 active Covid-19 cases in the state – East Garo Hills three, East Jaiñtia Hills three, East Khasi Hills 26, Eastern West Khasi Hills zero, North Garo Hills one, Ri-Bhoi 12, South Garo Hills one, South West Garo Hills three, South West Khasi Hills two, West Garo Hills 22, West Jaiñtia Hills two and West Khasi Hills one.
In all, Meghalaya has had 96,523 Covid-19 cases, out of which 94,828 have recovered and 1,619 have died from the virus. There are 19 patients being treated in hospital with the disease – 12 in East Khasi Hills, four in Ri-Bhoi, one in South Garo Hills, one in West Garo Hills and one in West Jaiñtia Hills.
