Alpha English Higher Secondary School in Nongpoh witnessed a significant stride towards promoting quality education with the inauguration of its computer science laboratory today.
Local MLA Mayralborn Syiem inaugurated the lab, which the school hopes will equip students with essential computer knowledge.
Funded under the Chief Minister Special Development Fund for 2021-2022, the laboratory boasts 25 computers and internet connectivity. This facility aims to empower students with the necessary tools to excel in the field of computer science.
The lab has been dedicated to the memory of the late SS Blah, who is remembered for her generous contributions towards promoting quality education in the school.
Meanwhile, four students who secured top 10 and top 20 positions of the SSLC and HSSLC examinations respectively were felicitated.
