The Miss Meghalaya Organisation, under the aegis of the Meghalaya Tourism Youth Development Society (MTYDS), today announced that Chaivalry Lartang is the winner of Miss Universe Meghalaya 2025 and will now represent the state at the Miss Universe India 2025 pageant.
The state-level selection was held on June 14 here in a tightly contested event featuring several talented aspirants from across Meghalaya. The event was jointly organised by MTYDS and Miss Universe India.
The jury panel included Amjad Khan, Director of Franchise Operations for Miss Universe India; Aqsa Varghese, Miss Universe Kerala 2024; and Irene Dkhar, Miss Tourism India.
Lartang, who previously secured the position of first runner-up at Miss Meghalaya 2024, impressed the judges with her poise, confidence and charm. She is set to begin intensive grooming and training in Delhi as she prepares to take the national stage at Miss Universe India 2025.
