More civic action programmes have been carried out by the Border Security Force (BSF) Meghalaya in villages along the international border.
The 181st Battalion of the BSF held such events in the South Garo Hills villages of Baigunkona, Sibbari, Dumnikura and Namchapara today.
The BSF distributed various items, like water purifiers, stationery, dustbins, bicycles, solar lights, etc to residents.
Another civic action programme was also organized by the 193rd Battalion in Rajai village of South West Khasi Hills, in which household items, sports goods, computers, etc were distributed among the villagers.
