West Garo Hills police today apprehended a juvenile after he ran off while attempting to rob a woman while she was on her morning walk.
The incident took place near Montfort School in Tura at about 6:15am this morning.
While she was walking, the juvenile on a two-wheeler attempted to snatch her mobile as well as steal her handbag. However, he completely failed in his attempt and had to beat a hasty retreat after the woman fought back.
The woman later registered a complaint with the police after which the juvenile suspect was apprehended.
