The University of Science and Technology Meghalaya today organized a brainstorming session with the principals of various colleges with whom the university has signed memorandums of understanding (MoUs).
Addressing the meeting, Prof GD Sharma, the USTM Vice-Chancellor, highlighted the importance of having good links with universities and colleges across the nation as well as abroad.
The agreements signed with the colleges will provide adequate opportunities, give exposure to students and help in joint research programmes Sharma added.
His speech was followed by an interactive session among the principals and representatives of the various colleges present at the session.
The colleges that took part included Tinsukia College, Gauhati Commerce College, B Borooah College and Nowgong College.
USTM also signed MoUs with Tinsukia College, CNB College, LCB College and Dispur College on the occasion.
