Shillong, May 27: Speaker of the Bihar Legislative Assembly Dr. Prem Kumar is currently in Meghalaya on an official study tour as part of a parliamentary exchange and learning visit, focusing on understanding legislative functioning and parliamentary activities within the state.
Kumar arrived in Shillong on Tuesday and his official tour is scheduled to continue until May 29.
During his stay, Kumar is exploring various parliamentary activities in Shillong and Sohra, while also visiting places of historical and cultural importance.
Kumar is accompanied by his spouse, Prabhawati Devi, along with officials and security personnel from the Bihar Legislative Assembly.
The visit is expected to further strengthen inter-legislative cooperation and encourage the exchange of best practices in parliamentary governance between states.
