BBS Shillong and NEHU Shillong won their opening matches of the Inter College Men’s Cricket Tournament, organised by North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU) here today.
In the first game, St Edmund’s College won the toss and batted first but could only make 76 all out. BBS reached the target in 13 overs for the loss of three wickets.
Later, Umshyrpi College won the toss and also batted first against NEHU Shillong. They put up a total of 150/7 in their 20 overs but NEHU Shillong chased this down in 18 overs with two wickets in hand.
There will only be one match tomorrow and it will be between NEIAH and Shillong College from 8:30am.
