A Bangladeshi national was apprehended by the Border Security Force (BSF), Meghalaya frontier while attempting to illegally cross the international border, officials said today.
The BSF said that the individual was arrested by the troops of the 4th Battalion yesterday.
The individual, a resident of Pirojpur District, Bangladesh was handed over to the Pynursla Police Station in East Khasi Hills.
