The A’chik Organisation for Social Welfare (AOSW) has “condemned” the Block Development Officer of Samanda, East Garo Hills, for not replying to a Right to Information (RTI) request in a manner satisfactory to the organisation.
The request was filed in relation to the Dobetkolgre to Apotgittim bridge.
The AOSW had, in April, slammed cabinet minister and Williamnagar MLA Marcuise N Marak for supposedly misleading the people with his pre-election ‘report card’. In the accounting of his time as MLA between 2018 and 2023, Marquise had shown the Dobetkolgre to Apotgittim bridge as complete even though less than half of the project had been finished at the time.
