Shillong, Jun 6: Students from Garo Hills facing challenges in securing admissions to North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU) will benefit from a newly launched dedicated admission helpdesk, initiated by the A·chik NEHU Students’ Union (ANSU).
The union said the admission helpdesk is a step towards ensuring that deserving students have the necessary guidance. The initiative is particularly focused on assisting those who might otherwise miss out on the opportunity to pursue higher education due to a lack of information or technical difficulties during the application process.
With NEHU’s admissions currently underway, the student union hopes that the helpdesk will significantly increase participation from students in the Garo Hills region. By guiding them through the application process and providing detailed information on available courses, eligibility criteria, and important deadlines.
