The AH & Veterinary Department has de-contained three villages after no case of African Swine Fever (ASF) Disease was reported since last 45 days.
According to a statement, the three villages are Pig Farm Nongkasen in West Khasi Hills, Medium Farm in Dalu, West Garo Hills and Mawtneng Nongthymmai Kyrdem in Ri Bhoi District.
“However, in order to prevent the further spread of the disease, the villages must follow bio-containment, bio-security and preventive measures,” the statement said.
